Yeah, I tell ya I was down there yesterday of an
evening, down there at that Southeastern Eastern Classic of
yours. I tell ya yaw got one of the finest bands down there
I've ever seen! I think that fine young bandsmen down there
playin the gong, basedrum, and suspended cymbal did a fine job.

Dear Band you all were kickass this year. i am really
proud of what you all accomplished. good luck to the seniors
who will be leaving this year and its a whole new world out
there so be careful. to the underclassmen, you only get better

Great site. As an alumni of the band, it is good
to see the tradition continue. I had the honor to march in the
'76 bicentennial parades in D.C. and Philadelphia and was drum
major with Laura Atkinson. Living just outside of Washington
now doesn't give me a chance to get back down to N-C much and
would love to hear from former classmates/bandsmen. |

I was in "THE" band from '70-'73. My fondest memories
of high school are of the band; being in the variety show (count
'em, 6 years!), but especially the trips to Bristol, VA, Bradenton,
FL, and of course, Vienna. (I wonder if Austria recovered from
our assault?!) |
