Band Staff: The band staff at Newton-Conover High School consists of a team that is not limited to the teachers hired by Newton-Conover City Schools but also includes a staff of part time professionals hired by the Newton-Conover Band Booster Club, Inc.

Band Director: Haskew Smith has been the Band Director at Newton-Conover High School since January of 1999. Mr. Smith was previously the Assistant Band Director at Newton-Conover since 1994. Notice his stylish mustache.
